 1960 14kt Gold TV Case Accutron 214

Florentined front on a mirror bright polished bezel.

The TV Case is the very first Accutron Model. It was released in November of 1960. The shape of the case is truly unique and nothing like it has ever been duplicated by Bulova, or anyone else. Just look at the striking shape of the solid gold one-piece back cover which snaps on and off. This is the rarest, heaviest  and most collectable 14 carat gold 214 of all. You could properly say that it's the first of the first 214's.

The hands, and dial are excellent.

The cover is engraved "BULOVA 14K" - "PATENTED" - "136242" - "M0".

The engraving is crisp and the watch is not personalized.

The sides of the lightly polished case are very clean and the edges are crisp.

The mineral glass crystal is new-old-stock.

The brand new Accutron band compliments the watch perfectly.

This watch will fit up to an 8-1/8 inch circumference wrist.

This rare timepiece has been fully serviced. The movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted to work perfectly and keep accurate time with a readily available #387S or #394 1.5v silver oxide battery.
