1960 14kt Gold TV Case Accutron 214
This TV Case is the very first Accutron Model
which was released in November of 1960. The shape of the case is truly unique
and nothing like it has ever been duplicated by Bulova, or anyone else. Just
look at the striking shape of the solid gold one-piece back cover which snaps on
and off. This is the rarest and most collectable 14 carat gold 214 of all. Note
that I chose it as my background image.

The hands, and dial are excellent.
The inside surfaces of the lugs are undamaged.
The original 1960 nickel plated movement with its correct 3 wire coil is in excellent condition.
The cover is engraved "BULOVA 14K" & "PATENTED 135374, M0".
The engraving is crisp and the watch is not personalized.
The
lightly polished
case is very fine with no damage anywhere, all
of the edges are crisp.
The mineral glass crystal is new-old-stock.
The lightly used original 1960's Accutron band is in excellent condition.
The
gold-filled tuning fork logo buckle is marked "BULOVA
1/20 10K G.F".
This
watch will fit up to an 8 inch circumference wrist.
This rare timepiece has been fully serviced. The movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted to work perfectly and keep accurate time with a readily available #387S or #394 1.5v silver oxide battery.
