 18kt Gold 1961 Accutron 214

Occasionally I acquire a 214 that should not be restored. This is such a watch.
The soft 18kt case has only the barely visible surface wear that you would expect to find on a one year old watch, and this 214 is 48 years old. Because the case has never been buffed, all of the sharp edges are crisp, and that is a rare find indeed.

The inside surfaces of the lugs are undamaged.

The hands, and dial are excellent.

The original 1961 nickel plated movement is in excellent condition.

The crystal is new-old-stock.

The case has been lightly polished.

The
threaded lock ring has been buffed.

The cover is engraved "BULOVA, 18K, WATERPROOF, PATENTED, D11110, M1".

The engraving is crisp and the watch is not personalized.

The lightly used original Bulova band is marked "Genuine Alligator Lizard".

The gold-filled tuning fork logo buckle is marked "BULOVA 1/20 10K G.F".

This watch will fit up to an 8 inch circumference wrist.

The case, like the watch, is in near-new condition.

Few 214 owners saved the original cardboard box, and most of the the ones that survive today are in tough shape. This one is about a 7 on a scale of 10 (ten being brand new)
.

This handsome timepiece has been fully serviced. The movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted to work perfectly and keep accurate time with a readily available #387S or #394 1.5v silver oxide battery.

One year written warranty on parts & labor
