There are two correct batteries for the
Accutron 214.
You can find them almost anywhere that watches are sold or repaired.
Both are silver oxide batteries. One is the #387S and the other is the #394.
The difference is that the #387S
comes with a plastic sleeve, the #394 does not. Use an old sleeve with the #394
battery.
Each photo below shows a #387S on the left and a #394 battery on
the right.
They are the same size, shape
and voltage.

View of the battery as it should be placed into your Accutron (un-printed side up). The printed side is facing down
Photo of what you should see after you drop the battery into your watch. If you can see printing on the battery, you goofed, the battery has been pressed into the plastic spacer up-side-down.
IMPORTANT: TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE COIL, MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE BATTERY IS SEATED ALL THE WAY DOWN AND FLAT AGAINST THE CIRCUIT BOARD. IF YOU FEEL PRESSURE BEFORE THE BATTERY CAP IS SCREWED ALL THE WAY DOWN, REMOVE THE CAP AND RE-SEAT THE BATTERY
