Wanted: Bulova Accutron Model 214 Tuning Fork Wristwatches, Parts, Accessories, Tools, and Ephemera.
I buy 214's in any condition, working or not. Also need Accutron watch crystals, dials, and watchbands with the Accutron tuning fork logo. If you have a 60's or 70's Accutron case or outer cardboard box, owners booklet, hang tag, battery hatch coin, facts booklet, service manual, etc., please let me know.
Please make sure that your watch is a model 214. The 214 is
set from the rear of the case (see photo) by lifting a spring loaded
"C" shaped lever. Also on the rear of the case there is a slotted
hatch cover which unscrews to access the battery. If the back of your watch is
similar to the one in the photo please contact me.

Hi, anyone know where I can get a spaceview crystal part # 770 - 1AY ? nigelfahey@yahoo.co.uk
I have what I believe to be a 1968 Accutron 214. On the back case, the initial M8 is inscribed. I recently (three to four months ago) had to watch entirely refurbished. Total cost was $292 and change. I would like to have an idea as to its value. All I wish is for a ballpark figure, the watch is an exceptionally fine condition, luminosity on hands and face is high, and it has the Bulova logo at eight o'clock on the crystal. The band is not original, E-mail mrv2249@Gmail.com. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mike
I have a 1971 ladies accutron, gold tone, round crystal and oval case. The band is gold filled Champion with the tuning fork logo. the serial # is h865945 M1. What is the model? The battery was just replace and it hums but doesn't keep time. Any information is helpful. plcptx@gmail.com
I have a 1974 yellow 14K gold Bulova mans watch, it's an accutron serial number J592487, it also has a time date on the face. I would like to know the value. pl_kelley@hotmail.com
Hi, I recently acquired a Stainless Steel M3 with a serial # H98900. Of the photos in the photo gallery it looks most like the image with the tag: "Swiss Reflector/Dial Models are also known as the "Hidden Spaceview"." The band is not an Accutron band, it is a Speidel expander band with a calendar that doesn't function properly. The crystal has a few small scratches and the metal has a few nicks and scratches. I was hoping someone could enlighten me as to its value and anything else significant about this watch. thanks. lbessemer@mac.com
I decided to remove the battery from an Accutron I plan to convert to a RR dial and hands. Sure enough the battery was an Accucell. So I looked inside my other Accutron and the battery was Maxell SR43W. I took the Accuell and placed in what has been my daily wearer. It began to run fast, so I regulated using the methods outlined in the Accutron 214 service book. On both watches, both of the regulators were turned completely inward--towards the center of the movement--even though each had a different battery. Both watches kept time to about 1 second per day, sometimes better, whether on my wrist, or on my dresser. Yet, the watch with the Accucell with both regulators adjusted upward--away from the center of the movement--to the second last spot, (the gap just before the last flat,) seems to be gaining about 2-4 seconds on my wrist and losing about 6 seconds dial up. Shouldn't the watch be fairly accurate, with the Accucell battery and the regulation? Or, must I move the regulators all the way inward as they both were before? Shouldn't they have been running extremely fast, with the regulators set like that? Or does the fact that we no longer have 1.35v mercury cells negate the usual methods for regulating? Any opinions would be welcomed. Thanks all, Paul paulmr_ca@yahoo.ca
I have a 218/N2/day-date Accutron and looking for a honest, reliable, Bulova certified tech to service. Any suggestions would be helpful. Please reply to jgraham@kingcommercialflorida.com

I have a Bulova Accutron men's watch. The case is 14k gold. The face and hands are gold. There is no second hand. The face has raised single hash marks at each hour. "ACCUTRON", and "Swiss" are printed on the face just below 12:00. The face is approximately 27cm square. There is a single row of 44 full-cut diamonds surrounding the crystal, which appear to be set in a white gold or platinum. The crystal is square, with rounded corners, and beveled edges. The setting crown is gold, with a notched edge and is set with a blue carbachon sapphire. The back of the case has "ACCUTRON PI" and "14 K" stamped at the top, and the number "10253420" engraved at the bottom. Inside the case cover is the word "BULOVA" and the number "C816002". The "movement" has the words "BULOVA WATCH Co", "UNADJUSTED", "NO -0 -JEWELS", "SWISS", "CELL (Accutron symbol here) 602", and the number "2500.30". The watch has a 14K gold fine mesh band permanently attached, made up of small textured chevron designs with a fold-over gold clasp, which is stamped "14K" on the back. Can you identify this watch?
